Guest speaker Colin Bell will address us on Where to -
Africa'' Wildlife? - The high road or the low road: Rhinos, Elephants… and how
tourism can be the chief destroyer of the environment or its only saviour.
The book Africa's Finest was launched in September 2013,
it is a thought provoking and controversial book and also very beautiful,
co-authored by Colin Bell and nature writer, environmental scientist and
adventure traveller David Bristow. Great stories; great pictures!
Brendan Seery wrote in a review in The Star “Colin Bell
is too young to be a fatalistic pessimist. For many of his 58 years, he has
been deeply involved in this frustrating, fantastic, forgiving continent which
we call home… and he has seen the capacity for healing and growth that lies
within Africa.”
"To me, there is no more uplifting, inspirational,
or educational form of travel than a safari," said Colin Bell, founder of
Wilderness Safaris, at the National Geographic World Legacy Awards in
Washington DC in 2004.

Some reviews of Africa's Finest
For a very long time I haven't seen an incredible Book
like this.
AFRICA FINEST is a masterpiece and everyone loving Africa
should get a copy!
Big CONGRATULATIONS to a fantastic, massive book! A
“bible” and a guide for any serious Conservation-led Travel Designer, and a
blueprint for all safari suppliers! I have read it, cover to cover… The
research and work put into this book is incredibly impressive, the layout
beautiful, the images stunning and the facts easily accessible!
