In conversation with Pam Black

Up to the minute, informative and enjoyable.
Relax with a delicious luncheon at a top restaurant.
A great speaker is the ‘cherry on top’.

The winter break is over and we’re looking forward to our first luncheon of the coming season.
As I write it is still very chilly in Cape Town; can’t wait for spring!

Buitenverwachting Restaurant
When:
Thursday, 23 August 2012
Time:
12h00 for 12h30 (starts promptly)

Pam Black

We will be meeting Pam Black author of the best-selling
A – Z of Factory Shops in the Western Cape
. She has just released the 12th edition of this handy book which has become synonymous with saving money. Something which all of us like to do and in these times an essential part of life

In this thoroughly updated twelfth edition, Pam lets you in on her secrets as to where to locate quality items at bargain prices at more than 300 factory shops visited personally by the author, and all her reviews are given without fear or favour - so readers can be confident that her recommendations are for real.

Pam says “We’ve all heard of an idea whose time has come - now there’s a book whose time has most definitely come!”

Pam will take questions and her book will be on sale.

Buitenverwachting Restaurant re-opens from its annual break on the 15 August and Edgar who has just returned from Austria is creating a very special menu for this luncheon. I will circulate this as soon as I have it. We will enjoy a glass of elegant Buiten wine with our meal.

The price per person is R225 and you can pay at the luncheon.
