Explore Coffee Culture at Buitenverwachting

You are invited to an exciting morning!

Coffee tasting with a difference! Read on…

Thursday 4th April at 10h30 at Buitenverwachting Restaurant

Lars Maack owner of Buitenverwachting is a Coffee Connoisseur so much so that on meeting Warren Machanik a man who is passionate about coffee they put their heads together and joined forces…  The result was that Lars built a roastery to house Quaffee Warren’s excellent Coffee operation that is on a continuing quest to source and enjoy fine QUAlity coFFEE, traceable back to the growers all over the world... then sharing it with other coffee lovers.

This all led to the dawn of the popular Coffee BloC – specialities are - coffee and cakes… new on the menu, divine breakfasts and light lunches.

Kerstin Mercer is a Story Teller par excellence (with a Masters in Drama) and is extremely interesting!  She has made it her business to learn all about coffee: its tastes, its stories and more…

She will be with us at Buitenverwachting Restaurant to make our journey into the Coffee Culture more exciting and erudite.  You will thoroughly enjoy her stories which span the coffee production to consumption spectrum as diversely as her career and travels.

You will taste four coffees paired to bites all of them superb!
You will be regaled with fascinating information about each!

The price per person is R90 payable at the restaurant on the day.
