Tuesday 11 April 2017 at 12 noon for 12h30
Buitenverwachting Restaurant

Business woman; brilliant cook; vivacious; entertaining and teacher par excellence, Ina Paarman, a qualified Home Economist left her position as Senior Lecturer at the Cape Technicon to start a cookery school.  During this time, she was also food editor of Die Burger and Femina and won both the Mondi and Galliova awards for excellence in journalism.  Ina had her own regular TV cookery slot and has to date written 8 cookery books.  Her cookery classes were legendary; both men and women were waitlisted to join the growing number of Ina Paarman fans and students.

She formulated a small range of gourmet dressings, sauces and seasonings on customer demand.

The fortunes of the condiment business took a dramatic turn when the Paarman’s youngest son, Graham, joined the business in 1990.  He expanded the product range, manufacturing facility and selling infrastructure.  Thanks to these efforts, Ina Paarman has become a household name and one of the few living brand names.

Recently returned from a week in London to catch up on the latest culinary trends, Ina says “As you know, food, like fashion, is continuously in a state of flux. We as a company need to stay relevant as far as products and recipes are concerned.”  She is going to share this knowledge with us.

Ina’s products are so popular that most of us wouldn’t be able to cook without them.

We are at Buitenverwachting Restaurant for this luncheon.  Excellent Chef/Patron Edgar Osojnik has created a scrumptious menu and maitre d,  Diego Noble is looking forward to hosting this lunch.  There will be lucky draws and good networking opportunities for all...
